Thanksgiving

Well I didn't get any pictures of the food this year but we did play some games. Kyle's new favorite is Yahtzee and he usually picks so Yahtzee is was, but I won!

Kyle took this one of me

Then we went to my cousins house to visit with my Dad's side of the family. They taught my children to gamble, aka play left, right, center. Kyle almost won but my aunt ending up winning.

Storytime with Santa and Mrs. Claus

On Saturday we went to the Jamerson's to visit Santa and Mrs. Claus. This is our third year to be able to do this and the kids love it. They wear their pajamas and get to have individual time with Santa, eat cookies and make a craft.

For some reason I only took one picture of both kids with Santa and Mrs. Claus and Kyle is making a funny face.

Kaitlyn's birthday party

Kaitlyn had a small birthday party at Stevi B's on Friday night. She had 7 friends and some family to join us for pizza and cupcakes. Then she opened her gifts and they played some games. I bought a few tokens and the owner/manager was very nice and gave me some tokens.

Kaitlyn loved this gift. First it came from Justice, and it has a peace sign on it.

She also got some money. She wants an ipod touch so bad it is crazy. She didn't quite get enough yet so if anyone else wants to contribute to the fund let me know. :)

Last soccer game

Kyle had his last soccer game a couple of weeks ago and they got their trophies. This kid loves to play soccer!

It was really cold this morning!

Favorite photopass pics

I would definitely recommend the use of the photopass photographers at Disneyworld. I was able to pre-order the cd that would have all my pictures on it for $99.95. The regular price of this is $149.95 so I saved 50 dollars. I ended up with 212 pictures taken while there, then I edited the pictures (cropped, zoomed in) and added borders to some of them and ended up with 336 total pictures on the cd. When you get the cd they send you the rights to the photos so that I can now upload them to Shutterfly or Artscow (the two sites I upload and order pictures from) and order them in whatever size I want. I took a lot of pictures with my own camera but the photopass allowed me to get in the picture as well. Plus I love the "magic" shots they can do.

Here are a few of my favorites:

a comparison

This was not our first trip to Disney. Kaitlyn, Kyle and I had been back in March of 2005 with Lora, Aaliyah, Roger and Jean. That trip we only went to Magic Kingdom one day and MGM (now Hollywood) one day. About two weeks before spring break Roger says "hey let's go to disneyworld". I wasn't going to turn down opportunity to go to Disney but you just can't decide spur of the moment to go somewhere like Disneyworld. These trips take planning. This trip I planned a lot. I read and searched things for about 3 months, everyday!

Here is a picture of me with Sorcerer Mickey from 2005:

And here is a picture from 2010 (Kaitlyn took this photo):

I think either Mickey got taller or I got shorter.

Steph's condo

Here are some pics of my friend Stephanie's condo that we stayed at. The condo is at Seychelles on the 8th floor. It has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. I know they rent it out during the summer for what I believe is a pretty reasonable cost.

Even though Panama City is not my favorite beach, we are considering coming here next summer because it is just so nice.

Panama City Beach

We drove to Panama City on Friday when we left Orlando. We kinda went out of our way a tad but I have a friend who has a condo in Panama City and she was kind enough to let us stay there for Friday night. We arrived at about 10:30 on Friday night and were exhausted. It was so nice to be able to sleep in on Saturday morning, though Kyle was up at about 7:00 and woke up Kaitlyn which then woke me up. But everyone but Kyle went back to sleep and he just watched some tv. Then we played on the beach for a little while before heading back to Memphis.

I kept singing "I've got my toes in the water, toes in the sand, not a worry in the world, a cold beer in my hand (only I didn't have the beer). life is good today"
