Trick or Treat

Here are my kids trick or treating tonight. Kaitlyn was the girl from Camp Rock and Kyle was a Ninja Turtle.

Kyle really had the hang of this trick or treating thing this year. He was running to try and keep up with Kaitlyn. I kept telling her to wait for him and she said He's too slow. Kyle would say thank you to the person giving him the candy and then run off and say "mommy I said thank you".

costume bowling

Last week the boys on Kyle's bowling team decided we should dress up in our costumes for bowling this week. Here they are all dressed up in their costumes. We had a red power ranger, a ninja turtle, a doctor and 2 Optimus Primes.

I had to take this picture with my cell phone. My little purple camera that I keep in my purse for these kind of occasions officially died. I thought it was just the screen but now it won't even take a picture, ugh!

fall festival

We had our fall festival tonight at church. I took my camera in hopes of getting some good pictures and of course the batteries died. I usually keep back up batteries in my purse but I recently switched purses and I guess I didn't put them in there. No big deal I thought, I always keep my small purple camera in my purse as my back up camera. Well the screen is cracked and you can't see anything on it. It will still take a picture but since there is no viewfinder I have no idea what picture I am taking. Well here are a few of us trunk or treating that I took blindly. Not so bad considering I just held the camera up and snapped.

And this one is pretty good and centered but a little dark. Kyle went through this blow up house and said "hey there are no treats in here".

This one is not half bad.

This one I was trying to get the Luau girls, I am not sure who that is to the right.

I was trying to get Mr. Incredible and Kyle, just needed to lower the camera bit.

Ben dressed up as the Joker. I took this picture from afar and zoomed in so he wouldn't know I taking his picture, he will love me for this. I think it should be his new profile pic. This was before my camera batteries died.

Honor Roll

I am so proud of Kaitlyn I could almost cry. Report cards go home tomorrow but we had open house at her school tonight. Her teacher went ahead and sent the report cards home tonight. Kaitlyn made the Honor Roll!!! She had 1 A (in math) and 3 B's. This is by far the best report card she has ever had. She has always struggled in school and they say 3rd grade is the hardest grade yet but she is doing wonderfully. She really likes her teachers and is finally enjoying going to school again.

Flair

There is an application on Facebook called Flair, where you can send and receive buttons to and from your friends with different sayings, pictures, etc. Then there is a bulletin board on your facebook page to display them. I could browse the flair boards for hours. Now for those of you not cool enough to be on Facebook I thought I would share a few of my favorite that I have sent or have on my board.

confused baby shower

Kyle went with me to a baby shower today at church. He said "why are we taking a present to the shower?" I said well that is just what you do. He said "is the baby going to be there?" I said no. He asked when the baby was coming. I said in about a month. Then he wanted to know if Susan had to go the doctor. I said yea, he said and the doctor will take the baby out. I said yes. I was waiting for him to ask how the doctor was going to get the baby out but he didn't ask. He enjoyed the shower and looking at all the gifts. Then he really liked helping Luke load them all in the truck.
