Hollywood Studios

On Thursday we went to Hollywood Studios. When we got on the bus that morning Kyle started singing that song from America's Got Talent, "I'll be up in my studio, studio" and then sang it to himself for most of the morning.

We got up early so that we could be there before the park opened to be in line for rope drop so we could follow the crowd to the Toy Story Mania ride. This ride is so fun but if you do not get there early you will either not ride or have to wait more than an hour to ride.

So we arrived about 8:40 and here is the mob in front of us.

They have the green army men to control the crowd making sure no one is running or pushing, I held my camera up to take a picture of this one and he said "ready and shoot (and saluted), that will be one for the books!"

When we got to the ride (at about 9:07) the wait time posted was 40 minutes. There is some debate over whether you should get fastpasses first or ride then get FP's. We rode first. We actually only waited in line about 20 minutes. Then we got fastpasses for later, the FP's usually run out by 10:30 or so, so if you are going and want to ride this ride you gotta get there early. It is worth it!

I rode with Kaitlyn, her score is yellow and mine is green. Not too shabby for our first try.

We met Lotso, Sorcerer Mickey and the Incredibles over in the Animation Studio.

Then found Lightening McQueen and Mater.

watched the Stunt show

And stopped to dance with the Block Party bash people. The Monster's Inc float stopped in front of us.

up next: more Hollywood Studios, will we see Fantasmic?
