Move Over Law

So yesterday I got pulled over. I thought to myself I wasn't speeding, I wasn't talking on my phone, and I am wearing my seatbelt -- what did I do? So I pulled over on the off ramp from 385 to Austin Peay. The officer says "Ma'am do you know why I pulled you over?" I said "no, I have no clue". He says "you weren't speeding", I thought to myself I know I wasn't smart alleck. He says "well in Tennessee we have a move over law" (I thought a move over what?). He continues "It says that if you see emergency vehicles on the side of the road you are to get over in the other lane." I thought I was not paying attention to what was on the side of the road. I am sure I have this confused look on my face because I was confused. Seriously, they can give you a ticket for that. He didn't (and I would have been really mad if he did) but he did take my license and write me a warning. So know the rest of you know -- the move over law -- it means move over.

Yesterday was a glum day anyway. I went back to work after 2 nice weeks off to hyper crazy teen-agers. I was so tired by the end of the day that I just wanted to crawl into bed. I got a headache about 6:00 and did go to bed about 6:30 then woke up at 9:30 and could not go back to sleep until about 12:30.

Over the break I had several things on my to-do list to do. I did clean out my pantry and refridgerator. I sorta cleaned out Kaitlyn's room -- I am still working on that.
I did redo my music playlist on this blog. And I made it shuffle so that it will play a different song each time you log on. That was for you Leigh.

Robert (Hope's ex) found out about that law the same way except his cop didn't write a warning but gave him a ticket. Robert tried telling him he couldn't get over b/c there was traffic in the other lane. What was his other option coming to a dead stop on the interstate? There are some really stupid laws. Do you know in AR you can get pulled over and get a ticket for "inattentive driving", what the heck does that mean anyway? Just another way to get money and meet ticket quotas! Sorry you had a crappy day. Hope the week gets better. (If it makes you feel any better mine has sucked! And it is only tuesday)
