redneck egg hunt

All the kids didn't have Easter baskets for the egg hunt so we had to use plastic sacks. I said well this is such a redneck egg hunt. Then we hid the eggs twice. Kaitlyn and Aaliyah thought they were too good for the egg hunt the first time but played along the second time.

We left Nashville a little after 10 am and drove to Luke's house. We did lots of activities this day so it will take several posts to get it all on the blog. It was such a pretty day so we stayed outside most of the day. These are just some random shots of the day.

L2L- Kaitlyn

This is Kaitlyn's 4th year to participate in lads to leaders, she really enjoys doing all the events she does.

The 5th grade girls puppet team, there were only 4 of them so they each had to read 2 parts. They did a good job under these circumstances.





On Friday night, she got called to the stage for being a finalist in photography.

L2L- Kyle

We spent the weekend in Nashville at the Opryland hotel for the annual Lads to Leaders convention. This is our 4th year to be involved with this program.

Kyle also participated in song leading but John went with him and I went with Kaitlyn because they were at the same time. I gave him my camera but the guy said not to use flash photography so John didn't take a picture. ARRRRRGGHH!
